The house is on the outskirts of San Pedro del Pinatar
which is on the south-east coast of Spain on the
Costa Calida. (Costa Blanca).
As you can see from the map (below), San Pedro del
Pinatar is situated at the top of the Mar Menor which
is a large salt-water lake, separated from the
Mediterranean by a small stretch of land.

Because of this, the water
(which is never more than 7
metres deep), is the warmest
part of the Mediterranean and is
ideal for children as the beaches
are clean and the waters
relatively shallow.
The house overlooks the salt
lakes of a natural park which is a
haven for birds including
flamingos. It is close to golf
courses and sandy beaches and
within walking distance of the
town's shops, restaurants, bars
and nightlife.
It is situated in a quiet street with
a communal pool.
